OHANDA Registration Key
To make use of the OHANDA label, you first need to register to obtain your OHANDA Registration Key (OKEY). The OKEY consists of 2 numbers, your Producer_ID and a unique Product_ID.
Producer ID
By registering at OHANDA, you - as a person or organisation - accept the terms and conditions to use the OHANDA label for your products by granting the 4 Freedoms to the user. You also agree to print or engrave the OHANDA label and the OKEY to every physical copy of your design. A precondition for registration as a Producer is at least one available product ready to register with OHANDA.
Product ID
To register your product, you first need to register as a Producer. Also you need to setup a unique website including all your digital design artefacts including your designs, documentation and other files (photos, gerber files, etc.). All this work needs to be published under a valid licenses suitable with the 4 Freedoms. This website and it's contents need to be accessable at least for 10 years after the registration of the product. If you need to change this URL for any reason you need to activly inform OHANDA on the change.
OKEY and redirection service
OHANDA provides a free URL redirection service for each OKEY. The URL http://Producer_ID-Product_ID.okey.ohanda.org will be redirected to your products home page including the digital design artefacts and documentation.
